Completed in spring 2009 this contract was for a turnkey four channel silo protection system.
Providing silo internal pressure monitoring and controlled shutdown during silo filling operations.
Silo protection system designed to give controlled delivery receipt of product during normal daytime or out of hours operation.
System compliments the existing silo level gauging and high level alarms.

Internal silo pressure monitoring using Afriso DMU 03 pressure transmitters.
Silo overfill alarms using Afriso ENT 7 STF self test capacitance level switches with flexible sensing probes.
Operator control panel for four separate silo fillpoints.
Two access key operation ensures delivery of product into the correct silo.
Internal silo pressure indicated on local displays.
Audio/visual alarms indicate high silo pressure, silo overfill, silo PRV blockage, silo filter blockage, compressor air failure and inlet isolating valve status.
Controlled shutdown of filling operation under alarm conditions.
Status and fault information displayed on internal readout. |
